Buckley

Margaret Jean Buckley is the only child of Jean (Jane Blake) and Charles John Buckley.

Jean was 48 years old when Margaret was born. Charles' first wife had died.

Here are some photos of Margaret as she was growing up.

Margaret had an older step brother, Ken Buckley who had heart troubles and sadly died at the age of 51 in 1967. Ken was married to Esma Jean Buckley (died 2004). They had two children, Daryl and Maree.

Being an only child, close friendships were important. Margaret's closest friend was Pat Fraser.

Buckley Family Grave - Keilor Cemetry 

On New Year's Day 2019, we visited the Keilor Cemetery to pay our respects to Margaret's family.

Go in the main entrance of the cemetery, past the flower shop on the left. A little further on the right side is a tap next to two rubbish bins. The pathway to the grave sight is just before the tap. This is known as Zone L. Down that pathway, the 28th burial space are the Buckley family graves.
