Melbourne General Cemetery
These are the details for locating where Frank's parents Kathleen and Thomas Hawkins are buried and the Burke Family grave at the Melbourne General Cemetery.
Kathleen (Cassie ) Monica Hawkins and Thomas Joseph Hawkins
Drive into the main entrance in Cemetry Road. Turn into the first road on left (Seventh Avenue) this is before the blustone Catholic Chapel. This runs behind the Chapel, continue past the Dimatina grave on the left, past the Mercy Nuns grave and park just before the road veers right. At that point is an Italian grave on left named Vicari and a green rubbish bin. Take the footpath at the Vicari grave and turn left at the second footpath. Travel along the path for 20 metres and the grave is on the right.
Frank's sister, Kathleen Jurkovsky is also buried in this grave.
Burke Family Grave
Leave the Hawkins grave and continue along the road until you come to an intersection and sign ahead that says No Exit. To get there by road turn right and follow it around to the grave. Walking from the No Exit sign the grave is about 40 meters down the road past the oak tree on the left or north side behind an Italian grave marked Coco, just up from the pine tree that is on the south side of the road.
